It hasn't been stated whether the game is for-sure one way or the other.

I don't want pay-to-play, and I've never (and most likely will never) play a pay-to-play per month game. However it'd be nice to see what other people have to say.

Quick Facts:

Pay to Play - Intensive Server Upkeep - Removal of Hacks and Mods and anything that goes in this category (until for one reason or another the game goes to F2P)
Free to Play - Moderate / Low Server Upkeep - Lag Issues from Server - Moderate Removal of Hacks and Mods (for a short period)


I would not mind paying for this game to keep it in running condition and not have it fall into the dismal abyss that Diablo2 did. For how long we've been waiting for Diablo 3 it, and not to mention that it's not as in-depth as WoW (meaning it will not cost 15$ monthly I would assume if it does go to P2P), I would rather have it serviced and updated like WoW than let it fall into disrepair.
I'm sure there are those who have a stick up the ass about paying consistently for a game, and to be honest I used to as well...before I realized how much of a difference it makes towards the upkeep on that particular game.

I honestly (if it did go to P2P) don't see it hitting 15$.
It's not as in-depth with graphics or content such as WoW.
I would judge it around 8-10$ monthly.

They could have a shit ton of side quests beside the main story line.

I wouldnt be willing to pay for Diablo 3 ( voted no ofc )
$5 in my opinion would be a good monthy price though for members.
