Ok, i haven't been following the content very well, but i have a few questions...

its obvious that they are looking at WoW for inspiration (i don't think they are trying to make a single player version by any means, but tell me you can see them taking a successful game and throwing away all its ideas)

but are they gonna come out with some end game content... like after the story line is done, some craziness that places a large difference between a fresh lvl 60 and someone who's been at it a while (excluding dropped items)? i don't know exactly what i have in mind, but i think that would be a cool idea... having the game not over outside of an item hunt when the story is done.

-

they seem to get rid of the "grind till no end" that seems to be the status quo in many other games similar to the diablo series (at least, that are big on online play)... like getting to lvl 99 in diablo 2 (not needed, but a perfectionist effort), is it pretty accurate that they are trying to avoid this for the most part?

-

runewords... i know they won't be called runes, but do they have a system like this? sure it needed altering, but i mean, that idea had amazing potential in my opinion... being able to have from cloth to plate armour with the same set of stats was really cool imo... i think they just needed to make a setup that asked you why you wanted to wear certain items instead of being stuck with a certain type

-

and lastly a statement... props to the crafting system, we don't need 90 different crafts...

-

thanks for taking the time to help me out with these questions

is it really unclear or do you have trouble reading?

1) endgame content: have they released any info that would at least point at the possibility of some content after the main storyline?
2) am i reading correctly that d3 is avoiding any "grind till no end" situations... outside of item farming ofc
3) is there any information that is leading to a possibility to have a runeword-type system... where you could have an low quality armour and a higher quality armour with similar stats
4) thanks for taking time to answer these questions... this isn't really for anyone like the people that have posted so far. just because i don't have 20 hours to look up d3 lore shouldn't mean i can't ask questions... thats what the forums are for, but thanks for your +1s

1. they are not that far into production to have decided, but they are definitely planning on working on it (as per Jay's statement from the last blizzcon)
2. yes, its not gonna be end-game content consisting of just gear/exp grinding. you hit max level well enough and then play out whatever they decide. or perhaps start a new char?
3. not that i have heard personally, but based on the current item system that has been revealed and comments made from blizzard i would guess runewords have gone the way of larzuk.
4. your welcome... +1

I don't understand why they killed Larzuk of all people. Dude was a pretty cool guy.
