It's the same method it just takes all the manual work of looking up each affix out of it.

People have scripts/progams to do this simply by getting the code (takes 5 secs which ever way youd o it) and copying the code in - it pumps out exactly what the items rolls will be.

I'm not sure if anyone has released them publically yet.

None of this would have happened if D3 had a real beta. Given how bad the storyline is and how little it has to do with the game I don't know why the full game was not tested.

Blizzard don't actually support unid selling - so it's a case of buyer beware. If they allowed listing unids on AH then this would be something they had to patch.

They may never patch this entirely, sure they will prob patch the method doing it that's now public, but since unid items have already had their stats determined there may always be SOME way to find out the stats without IDing.

Maybe they can fix it without changing the entire way loot is dropped and rolled though - who knows.

Either way as long as it's public info it doesn't matter. The damage was casued because people didn't know. Now they do
