If you hit enter after you broke item ID, game will kick you to login screen.

Also after it i can no longer get id on them:

you dont do it in the right place

go in the AH menu, than shift click on your item (in red) then you can see the real item ID.

use the secondary method (in the bottom of the description of the youtube video)
