your build uses a skill to hide for a bit and i assume hungering doesn't proc loh as much.. he uses 2 skills that constantly loh. you're using a regular demon hunter..that's the difference.

legit build, cc/cd too low for elite kills though. you'll rarely die using this build but also get ready to spam your mous/keyboards like never before. stretch your fingers before playing

watch the timing of the skills in the video. pretty chill/slow. it's not like cm wizards.

so because i use hungering arrow for ranged mobs and ss to avoid freeze, i'm a regular demon hunter?

i use the same as Fyffes except with ss and nats

lol, i did the same with my tank dh.. i FREAKING HATED range mobs so i used hungering arrow and sometimes you can lure them back to the gas cloud. trading ar/vit for near unlimited disc regen was helpful but it didn't really help me kill any faster so i ended up selling my nats set short after i got it.

yes. there were regular demon hunters pre and post patch. you're the post patch regular demon hunter. it's not a flame to just point out that you're using a cc build. it's an observation.

i've tried both tank dh & cm wiz(currently) and i think they're pretty much the same. i've tried 1h/shield, dual wield for my tank dh hoping to get my dps up a bit but trading shield for dual wield was really not worth it. i think i was around 600+ar, 1200loh, over 50% dr, 35-37% crit chance with over 400% crit dmg while i was dual wielding and i still couldn't kill fast enough. with my current cm wiz, i'm doing 44% crit chance with 220% crit dmg and i'm killing way faster

everyone has their own definition of "tank".. i dont believe that you have to follow certain builds to be classified as this or that. imo, tank build means to sit there and take hits while doing damage to your enemies. pound for pound. if you have the luxury to spam ss/gloom, why not use it? its way better than being frozen. and yes, i know.. when you have the chakram on, you'll leech even when frozen but its still annoying as hell. i've actually seen a "tanky dh" build that doesn't use gas grenades/chakram at all.
