Thats how she knows who and when to strike when she grabs the stranger, the sword and Leah.

They probably just forgot to tell us about it. Thats also why you find his corpse out in the wilderness when he's supposed to be sitting in town.


I was wondering how he said he was the ONLY one who survived the militia raid yet he was just a farmer and such...
