I need foresight, cause I don't wanna buy this expensive laptop for nothing.

if your gonna play games, dont buy a laptop.

I have a friend who bought a £3000 alienware laptop for gaming... biggest regret of his life lol.

lol don't get me wrong I'd customize my own desktop if only for gaming.

But I want the portability.
Not to mention a touch-screen.

I need a tablet laptop, and the best specs on a tablet laptop that costs 3000 us dollars is...

2.8 GHz
4 GB RAM
160 GB HDD

So I'm counting on that to play diablo 3, cause tablet functionality is mandatory for what I do.
Diablo 3's the only game i'm getting though lol. I'm not gonna try to play crysis or anything like that.

would most likely be the minimum

lol@alienware, anyone with a brain knows Alienwares is marked up about 350-400%
and laptops can play anything if you get the right parts (throwing money at it won't help unless you know what you're doing)

agreed, but spend the same amount on a desktop and you'll have a much better machine. Fact.
