Just read about the injections. If those work, I'd say that looks like a pretty nice route to take before attempting surgery.
I wonder if the inflammation it causes could lead to worse damage in the end? Didn't get too in depth with it other than you get a needle and solution squirted in affected area.

Side-note: You post a lot about the surgery. You need to see a doctor again and let them know how much this is bothering you. You make a bunch of threads. Thread = effort. Effort = pain. You needa get that shit checked out brother mayne!
