Iv really up'd my exercise frequency, before I did just a bit to get the illusion I was healthy, now i'v been hitting the gym 4-5 days a week specifically in the weight room. I look quite fit and get around in the gym but looks and what i can move are two very different things.

The issue is with my left arm, I know this can be common but it is really posing as a hurtle. My right arms going up just fine on those last reps but even on shoulder press and inclines I keep my workout buddy behind my to help guide my left and cup the elbow if needed (which is every time on those last reps of my set).

What I am after is any tips and tricks you guys have to balance out the strength. On my rest days should i try some staggered pushups putting more weight on the left?

What do you guys suggest?

Make sure there isn't any joint or tendon pain in your left arm. Check with a doctor, cause just lowering the weight could still cause more problems for you.

Absolutely no pain, i honestly think that my left arm is just naturally weaker where it is not my dominate arm. I am wondering some possible correction techniques, or if it will just come in time.

100% normal in a new trainee.  Everyone has a dominant side.

It will even out over time.  I wouldn't do anything different,  but if you insist, some db work will help.

Hey, thanks for the reply, this is sort of my feelings about it. Right now it is a hurdle because I want to do more with my right but i'm in fear of having further imbalance where I need that extra small push on my left.

Appreciate all responses.

i have arm issues also.

when i do any exercise with both arms on the bar, my left will go out first. (loses strength) so its like my right arm is already finished the rep, and my left arm had to struggle to go up.

sucks

Focus on your form; immensely. When your weak arm begins to give out, stop the exercise all together. It'll eventually catch up.
