Debating on whether to start or not

Been lifting for about a year and a half, hit some plateaus and then got over em but i'm still pretty scrawny x_x

I'm in a very similar boat as you.

I do want to try it, but I feel like the bad wrap it has is simply preventing me.

If my roomies / friends knew I was taking CREATINE (scary music) they'd probably get the wrong idea.

Creatine monohydrate is one of the most effective supplements one could purchase.
Anyone who thinks creatine is a steroid (lol, found naturally in red meat) is a nimrod; Forget them

But, honestly, the best way to beat a plateau is to eat more, sleep more, and lift heavier. That or take some time off.

Take it or don't take it. It might make a slight difference but I doubt eating all the supplements in the world would make anyone magically bigger. Personally I don't see a point in taking it.
