marines is the best in self-standards. That is why I picked them.
They have teh hardest bootcamp (which isnt actually hard, but because beginning standards are so low, it is the most effort in all bootcamps) , not phyically but mentally because of all the bullchit that you have to put up with.
They actually care about their drilling, the way they walk, the way they look. Yes it depends on the person because they are all regulated, but marines stick out because they always have to have high standards. Another reason i chose them.
unfortunately, I was one of those who go so tired of the BS and how un-honorable they actually were. I left before my contract because im not scared of our government, they even lie about punishments. Yes there is a way to get out if your not happy, just forget about the benefits.
However, I really hate civilian jobs so it was a stupid thing I did. Military life suits me well, I hate being social and the common civilian is stupid as hell.
I enjoy the high standards and working out to compete with your platoon and get paid for it. Don't get me wrong, a lot of military guys are scrawns like civilians and just abuse their military I.D.
Which led me to not look at military with higher respect anymore, so now even military needs to earn my respect
I specifically chose infantry/grunt so that I would get combat training. However, I left before I could join special forces because I was so impatient. I kept thinking of how fat and lazy everyone really was, I would not risk my life unless with special forces, because I know they are also trying hard to keep their bodies in top shape and learn to hone their skills.
I am now currently going to opt in a discharge re-evaluation so that I may re-enlist. I would make it my goal to be patient until special forces training. As everything before that was really easy for me and I lost a lot of my muscle/stamina. (caused me to get depressed)
So I know now, not to look so highly of the military because their standards are basic shit. You have to work towards the harder training and im going to stick to that motto this time.
upcoming Recon Marine is my goal. If i am unable to join marines again, able to join Navy, I would go for SEALS. Airforce would be 3rd option and last resort would be Army.
Edit:
also look into becoming an officer, much better pay if your worried about money. Just expect more responsibility.
I love you.
