INTERESTING TIP OF THE DAY:::

SIMPLE SUGARS (sugar, honey, white rice, white pasta, white bread, 100% fruit juice, regular potato, etc) right after a workout spikes insulin levels and increases protein synthesis at a time where direct protein intake is critical. So if you're trying to bulk, pop 20-30 grams of simple sugars RIGHT AFTER a workout and before eating a protein meal or shake =)

i know that height is mianly dependent on genetics and such but i found a site with advices on how to grow taller. and when ir ead through them they seem like legit answers and explanations. not sure though but i believe they could help growth (not LIKE HUGE AMOUNTS) but sitll a good 2-3inches hopefully./
just trying to get your input on them.

hey there...to be completely honest...this is coming from a man of only 5'7 who has hated his height his whole life....but anyway...

with the exception of growth hormone injections and constant hanging from a chin up bar with a special belt + weights attached to you to stretch your spine....nothing will really help you grow if your growth plates are already fully expanded and fused.

If you're under 21, there's a chance you can grow more with flexibility stretching exercises, plenty of amino acid support and pre-bedtime hgh stimulating supplements...

but in all honesty...of all those exercises listed...i've tried all...none work. Hanging from the bar with weights attached helps a tiny bit...and HGH injections works 100%...but I don't have the will to take that now...my growth plates are fused and I don't want to get a huge jaw and forehead with only about 1 inch height increase.

My recommendation is to come to terms with your height until science develops a genetic therapy to alter it....until then, it sucks, but I'm in the same boat as you - don't worry though, what is lacking in height...can be made up in muscular size =D

For tanning - use a good fake tanner...the real deal will damage the shit out of your skin and make you wrinkle up by your 30's-40's...not worth the skin cancer either.

a good fake tanner can be done at any tanning salon or by yourself if you have a chick get your back and everywhere you can't reach. They can be found on bodybuilding.com in the tanning section.


for clearing acne...the best bet is copious ammounts of water - frequent showering - a good moisturizing facial scrub - eliminating sugar from diet - and lastly apply baking soda and peroxide to the face 2x a day 1 morning and 1 before bed leaving it on for about 15-20 mins each time. All of these will assist in clearing acne VERY quickly.

I have a very high metabolism and would like to gain weight. What is the quickest way to gain wieght? Is it just through working out?

hey there...a combination of things will work -

first of all, you're going to want to take in about your bodyweight x10 + 700 calories a day minimum (ex: 150lbs x 10 = 1,500 cal + 700 = 2,200 cal / day)

in addition you're going to want to eat at least 1.5-2g protein and 1.5g-2g complex carbs per pound of bodyweight.

furthermore, BUY CYTOGAINER! Cytogainer is a product made by cytosport (the people who make muscle milk) and have yourself 2-3 cytogainer shakes a day...this will REALLY help you bulk up without getting fat. Cytogainer can be purchased at www.bodybuilding.com - amazing stuff, follow the directions and mix 3 scoops with milk and ice every day for a delicious shake that adds plenty of calories/protein/fat/carbs to ur diet to get you bulked up.

Also, you need to get into the gym at least 5 days a week for 5x5 training as mentioned in this thread several pages back.
