I'm 6'4" 240 lbs 12% body fat.

Wanting to switch to a vegan diet.

What you guys think? Can I maintain lean muscle/gain/cut as I please all the while maintaining clarity of mind and healthier body?

Or is getting in protein too hard and indirect and will go over carb/fat macros in process.

I no longer like the idea of eating dead animal protein.

You are what you eat, this is a fact not just a saying.

If you eat dead meat, you're going to feel dead, sluggish etc and there's proof it's not good for your health.

Also, I'm sure everyone can agree that protein sources outside of animal meat is better, it's just extremely hard to follow a diet like this so they shun it. Also, most people eat meat for the taste, not the actual nutrients.

I'm a PhD student in molecular biology, I think I know enough biochemistry/cell biology to understand how toxic animal protein is. I also know everything there is to know about protein synthesis.

So don't question the science, I'll slap you with 50 peer reviewed articles by scientists like myself.

What I'm wondering is from an experienced trainer/someone who has done this that had a lot of muscle mass, and their experiences.
