I want to hear what main differences you find between doing old everyday squats and leg press. I've never tried the second, but some friends have already told me that even though you can use more weight, you don't feel apparently much pressure at the knees, and I was interested in this.

Any comments?

I like to use leg press because at times I feel as though I get more of a HGH release than Squats

some reasons I don't like to use it is bc it puts a lot of pressure on my lower back

Squats is a much better exercise.. it works your entire body and only deads can compare to it..

Leg press is a good leg exercise.. but that's about it. its pretty cool that you can use a lot of weight though, I do nearly 1000 lbs :P

Just heard from people squats are like way better and for me the leg press could still affect the knees

Ok guys I'm not asking which one is the best, but thanks for implying anyway^^^^ I train squats three times a week, and the problem is my knees suffer a lot due to my arthritis, and I wanted to know wtwher leg press is really softer on the joints... :)

Leg press prolly easier on the knees m8...

Gives a better "burn" too for me, however I stopped doin em cuz it kills my lower back

Edit: I have bad knees too n I not feel a thing on leg press but squats nag em
