Well after about 5 months of p90x, and really not getting the results i want, i'm finally taking it to the gym. I started a couple days ago and I'm really enjoying the change, but I'm so lost when I actually get in there. Ive just been mimicking the workouts from p90x but in the gym since i dont know what else to do. Anyway I was hoping someone really knowledgeable could give me a good weekly routine that covers all the muscle groups. Id be willing to pay some FG to someone that really went out of their way to lay it out for me and help me along the way.

basically, i want what most people want, size and definition. I'm a pretty scrawny guy, 160lbs/6'1". I plan to go about 4-5 days a week for however long, 1-2 hours

here's a most recent pic from maybe a month ago so you can see about where im at

Weight gainer is just a money sucker, it's protein + carbs.

My point being you need to start eating more, you are very skinny atm.
That doesn't mean you need to start eating burgers.

When you are a weightlifting beginner and can go to the gym 3-4 days a week, then full body workout is what you need for the first 2-3 months.

i eat 4 hardboiled eggs in the morning, then a deli sandwich a few hours later, oatmeal and a protein shake before workout, protein shake after workout with random dinner, which i do my best to make high in protein. snack sometimes in between those.

"Double what you eat"

Not literally but close. You don't need insane protein, you need a lot more carbs.

ur best bet is to start here

http://www.bodybuilding.com/exercises/

then

Meal 1
6 egg whites, 1 yolk, 1 slice low fat cheese, 3oz oats, 1 banana, 1 cup of low fat milk, 1 scoop whey protein powder.

Meal 2
5oz tuna in water, 1 whole wheat bagel, 1 tablespoon low fat mayo, lettuce and tomato.

Meal 3
8oz grilled chicken breast, 1 baked potato, 2 cups salad, olive oil dressing.

Meal 4
Sandwich with 4oz turkey breast, 2 slices whole wheat toast, 2 slices low fat cheese and tomato. 1 cup of low fat milk or a yogurt.

Meal 5
6oz grilled steak, 1.5 cups brown rice, 2 cups salad or vegetables.

Meal 6
6oz cottage cheese, half cup almonds, 1 scoop whey protein.

Follow the above bodybuilding diet plan and remember, as you grow bigger, make sure you eat more calories!
