My new ladder c-rusher orb sorc is pretty quick at everything until I get to Act 2 viper amulet quest. Is there any secret to getting past these guys easier? Mana burn and cold immune = tough.

do you mean the ones on level 2 or just teleing through there?

tp right next to the alter, if there is cold immunes there and you don't have a support char or only have orb make a ng

If you mean teleing to lvl 2, make sure you have 70 fcr, also a decent amount of fhr, if that doesn't help and you use mh try to avoid mobs

I always use FireWall/Orb on classic, awesome build.

Otherwise make a new game if the alter is filled with them.

Which FHR breakpoint should I be aiming for?

Depends on your gear, if iratha setup you could probably hit 30 or 42

60 or 86 is a good amount otherwise

I'm doing a lot better now with 30 fhr and 71% block, but I think I really need a deflecting shield with 17 fhr and res so I can hit the 42 fhr breakpoint.
