Here is an event that will help you have some more fun on this dusty old game: Oddball duels!

The rules are simple. It is basically a PvP team of 4 very strange D2 builds (known as Oddballs). Think 4v4 GM but without all of those crappy mainstream builds that you all are bored of playing. An oddball character can use anything that isn't already being used in mass in a pub or priv duel game. This means NO:

Whirlwind
Blizzard
Orb
Hydra
FoH
Hammer dins
Bone Spirit/spear necros
FC zons
etc, etc...

You get the point. Nothing common in high level dueling.

Some examples are:

Frenzy
Summoner necro
charger
Zealer
Avenger
Bowa
Throwing barb
etc, etc...

So far we have 3 people doing this to start with. Eventually we would like at least 8 people to do this so we have enough players to mix and match teams. If you want, you and 3 of your friends can make your own oddball team, which would mean you can make some pretty bad ass combinations. If you have any questions, PM me or CMBurns.

Is there a reason why you are so angry at me? I am rather unsure who you even are. You are right, a zealer might end up winning, though it would have to use charge as well. I would call that pretty much a charger. I think that a pure zealer with no charge would lose to a charger.

And yes, I do play this game.

Summoner + tele is pretty damn strong.

Speculations from ppl who never bothered to make such chars is lol...

So to clear things up, lots of things can rape the charger. For instance, the summoner necro, the war cry barb, the frenzy barb and alot more.

Summoner nec with amp or decrep can actually deal some very nice dmg in a team duel and can handle some chars 1v1.

Now ofc, your typical hdin, blizz sorc, necro, whatever won't die to that, but those are not allowed.
