- You want to trade without taking the risk or losing your items or Forum gold? Read this Guide:


1. Always try to get a Mediator for your trades. Try to use a Mediator as often as possible.
A Mediator is the only way to do a 100% safe trade.

2. Always ask a Mediator for a PM to confirm that it is really the Mediator in your game. Mediators must always send a PM with their account name as confirmation.
Ask them to do this if they forget it once. Do not continue the trade if the person in your game hesitates to send you a PM.


3. Do not answer to PM offers. PM trades are forbidden for security reasons. Ask the person who PMs you to post in your topic.


4. Always make Screenshots of the trade. Try to make Screenshots of the following things:

• The Gamename (press your Tabulator Key on your Keyboard)

• The Timestamp (write /time in the chat window)


• The d2jsp and Diablo 2 account of the other trader (ask him: Who are you@jsp?)

• Your inventory before you trade (for example to proof that you had the item that you offered in a topic)


• Your inventory after the trade (for example to proof that your item was gone and the player left without sending you the Forumgold)

• A Screenshot of the PM where the Gamename was mentioned:

5. Do not let other users persuade you to trade without using a Mediator. You have the right to request a Mediator and you are expected to request a Mediator.

MAKE SURE BOTH PLAYERS ARE IN THE GAME BEFORE PMING THE MEDIATOR!!

Make sure you include all of the things on that list, it will make it easier for you and the Mediator.

Mediators have enough stuff to do for themselves, they help you people because the feel like helping. They are not getting payed for it, they just do it because they are kind. So try to be nice to them!
