So as you all know in UA, and even outside UA, I am selling out my LS account (for the second time, woot). I took some time last night sitting in bed and really went through what am I doing, why am I doing this, what do I want out of this, and what could I get out of this sellout. Obviously, all I can get is Forum gold. What can I do with Forum Gold? Dump it all into the RLT forum, and that is obviously my plan.
Last night I broke down how much Fg I needed to acquire everything I would like to get out of RLT, and that figure I came up with was 300k. 300k would cover everything I would want in RLT, and because I can only buy items of a certain type only once, after getting what I want I don’t see any other reason for me to swim around in RLT as there would be nothing I want so the Fg would be pointless and useless to me. So after I am done getting what I wanted, I wanted an extra buffer of another 100k to use in RLT, so total I need 400k forum gold to be happy for the next year. Since I can buy an item in RLT only once every 30 days (which would actually be like once every 45 days when you include the approval, shipping, searching time to get a RLT done), 400k will last me a good year or so worth of purchases. So, yeah… I really don’t need anything more than 400k I discovered last night. A year of presents to myself is a very long time! And I am very happy with that.
So given that number of 400k, I appraised my LS account/gear I have for sale, taking into account my current Fg amount, what people owe me, what I have out on loan, the amount I currently already have in the RLT system, and I appraised my account at about 600k. Looks like I am in good shape and can easily get a surplus of Fg that I want.
So, here’s the kicker. I want to give back. I want to make my presence felt in this guild after selling out and when I am no longer playing in guild runs anymore. I want to be remembered as someone who cared enough to help out and contribute to the guild even after selling out. I don’t want my sellout to hurt the guild, and I feel as if I am massively hurting the guild selling out. My apologies, so I want to make it up…
Enter the Tier I Mythical Ice monster I have for sale in thread right now for 130k. This charm has been the backbone of our guilds cata climbs since I joined UA, this charm has broken records, and honestly has been the horse to make UA runs the best on LS. Yes, we carry some mighty gear in this guild too, but this charm is a game changer and having it in UA really made a huge impact for us. That is why, I do not want it to leave the guild, and have decided I won’t let it leave the guild….
I am donating it to UA, and more specifically handing over ownership of the charm to the very capable hands of our fearless leader Todd. It is him who I believe it would make the most sense to give it to so the charm can continue to contribute to UA at its maximum potential.
This is my second time selling out LS. The first time I sold out, I donated over 100k to multiple friends including also buying high end items for my friends because I get this special feeling of satisfaction inside by being a helper. By helping someone. So now, my second time selling out, I’ll continue the legacy of not caring about Fg, not focusing on greed, and sharing my riches to those who I care about most on JSP, and that is UA.
Well, that is not the only news I have to share. Remember I said I appraised my account at 600k and I only have a goal of obtaining 400k to accomplish all I want to accomplish in RLT. That extra 70k-80k is going to go into discounts off my gear I am selling. And UA gets first dibs on everything before anyone outside the guild does. In a perfect world, I’d love for everything to stay in UA, and I came up with an idea on how I can get as close as making that a reality as I can…
I’m going to list everything I have for sale into one giant sellout thread, and I am going to list prices at I believe is going to be very very good deals for my guildies. I have a lot of Fg to work with here, and I plan on cutting a lot to keep items in the guild and sell them to UA. Yes, this would be a good idea if UA had a ton of Fg to spend right now, and I know we don’t, so it gets better. All I want Fg for, as I explained above is RLT. Outside that, I currently do not see myself needing the Fg. What will I use the Fg for right now? Currently I stand at over 100k on my account and my next time to be eligible for a purchase in RLT is still at least 30 days away. BUT… Next time I’ll need more Fg on my account for RLT is at least 60 days away. So, I am absolutely NO RUSH at all to acquire Fg. With these discounted prices I am going to offer on my items for this guild, I am completely willing to wait a couple months for you to pay me back. I honestly don’t need all the Fg now, so I will work with anyone in the guild who wants something on a deal with a nice long fair time frame for you to pay me back. All I would ask is that you legitimately had a way to make the Fg to pay me back in time, which we would discuss.
So as mentioned, I will create a sellout thread, and post it HERE in this guild chat for all my guildies to review first. After I have figured out everything that will stay in the guild, I will then post that sellout publicly in thread. I have to post it in our public guild chat though because it will be way too big for the private guild chats we have.
My entire life, I’ve always gone out of my way to help others. That’s what I do. In my last sellout I did, and now this sellout that legacy I have continues. It honestly gives me a feeling of satisfaction to do all this. I am legitimately happy about it.
So yeah… that’s my good news I have for the guild. Hope you liked it.
