The Witch, the Wizard, the Warlock and the Whale
To all Labyrinth members
We have a new set of ranks being opened up for active members
They are based on the idea of
The Witch, the Wizard, the Warlock and the Whale.
These ranks will be for the members
that obtain the highest proficiencies in
Muting, Glyphing, Fishing and Cooking, and for our top Wellers
The Ranks will be
Circe
Leucippus
Da Vinci
Nereus
The Witch will be our top two Wellers
Witch = the rank name will be Circe, In Greek mythology, (pronounced /ˈsɜrsiː/; Greek Κίρκη Kírkē "falcon") is a minor goddess of magic (or sometimes a nymph, witch, enchantress or sorceress) living on the island of Aeaea.
Circe's father was Helios (or Helius), the god of the sun and the owner of the land where Odysseus' men ate cattle, and her mother was Perse, an Oceanid. She was sister of two kings of Colchis, Æëtes and Perses, and of Pasiphaë, mother of the Minotaur. Circe transformed her enemies, or those who offended her, into animals through the use of magical potions.
This rank will be determined using both level and sheer number of wells produced. The most active and most efficient Wellers will hold these positions
Individuals that hold these ranks will be expected to maintain their abilities and will be asked to do welling for the Labyrinth community
These members will be welcome to set up their own arrangements for sharing / splitting good wells but we strongly suggest a fair arrangement. We also ask that the guild library gets first option to buy any major wells produced.
The Wizard will be our top 2 Glyphers
Wizard = The rank name will be (Leucippus) Leucippus or Leukippos (Greek: Λεύκιππος, first half of 5th century BC) was the first Greek to develop the theory of atomism — the idea that everything is composed entirely of various imperishable, indivisible elements called atoms — which was elaborated in far greater detail by his pupil and successor, Democritus. He was born at Miletus or Abdera
This rank will be determined by the level of the proficiency obtained in Glyphing.
The Warlock will be our top 2 Transmuters
Warlock = the rank name will be ( Da Vinci) Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci , April 15, 1452 – May 2, 1519) was an Italian polymath, scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, painter, sculptor, architect, botanist, musician and writer.
This rank will be determined by the level of the proficiency obtained in muting.
The Whale will be our top 2 fishers
Whale = the rank name will be (Nereus s (Νηρεύς), in Greek Mythology, was the eldest son of Pontus (the Sea) and Gaia (the Earth), a Titan who (with Doris) fathered the Nereids, with whom Nereus lived in the Aegean Sea.[1] In the lliad[2] the Old Man of the Sea (ἅλιος γέρων) is the father of Nereids, though Nereus is not directly named. He was one of the manifestations of the Old Man of the Sea, never more so than when he was described, like Proteus, as a shapeshifter with the power of prophecy, who would aid heroes such as Heracles[3] who managed to catch him even as he changed shapes. Nereus and Proteus ("first") seem to be two manifestations of the god of the sea who was supplanted by Poseidon when Zeus overthrew Cronus.

There will be rules set forth for these members such as
Services for guild members must be free. Meaning no FG charge
As mentioned before it is up to the individual and the donor to work out the specific on how they would like to split profits for major items although we encourage a fair split in the 50% range +- 10% remember that the proficiencies have a value and should be appreciated.
Individuals must maintain a minimum proficiency to keep the rank and must remain active there are exceptions for this. Real life always takes priority
There can and will be competitions for them some that may have FG rewards.
Labyrinth also asks that ANY highly useful items welled, or muted be offered to the guild library first for consideration of purchase.
There will be a weekly notification post in the LS thread that will contain vault numbers of the individuals that are taking items and what level items they are accepting
Individuals that are not at the top of the lists for Glyphing and muting will be included in this list for lower tier items so that none get wasted and so that we can support their proficiency climb
We ask that you remember that this is a community aimed to help not only each other but the entire JSP and LS community.
There may be rewards for individuals that choose to devote time to this effort
Such as FG rewards to help with vault costs and occasional competitions to see who makes the best items.
All other member that do not participate directly will be asked to help by donating items to Wellers, Transmuters, Glyphers, as well as Magical Fishing rods to fishers.

We’re also holding a Graphics contest for a new Charter design! We’ve used gothnacht’s image for a long time and it’s been great. I’d like to see some creative ideas in case something new might be used. It should incorporate the new ranks. I’m willing to give 500 FG for the winning entry, and I’ll allow up to one month to see all entries but I hope to choose something within a week. People outside the Guild, including gothnacht, may also enter the contest. I will judge the winning entry, but I will be taking comments on how people like the entries.
