I have found that often when we pray for patience, God gives us trials to test and increase our patience. Maybe this is just me, however. So I always try to keep an eye on my emotions, and then relate them to what is going on. Never know what God has planned!
Look at this from out of the box.
Consider Rom 5:3-5 And not only in this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance;
and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;
Pro 3:12 For whom the LORD loves He reproves,..
Tim 1:2-4 Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
1 Cor 13:4 Love is patient..
In summary, Gods allows trials in our lives to build character, give us hope and to show us HIS love for us.
