This is a very bad idea. I don't even agree with the subject that Czech Republic and Slovakia has one forum together instead of having their own forum alone but the countries you listed is too much and become very chaotic.

In fact Slovenia is not Balcan, Croatia is not completely Balcan and I would love to call Romania Balcan but that won't be true so instead I call them Asia. ^^ My suggestion:

1. Give Romania an own subforum because there are a lot of users who want it.
2. Give Bulgaria an own subforum because there are a lot of users who want it.

And as you could see nowadays there are too many political problems in the Balcan, like you and another user had a little row about what is Kosovo's official language. The same questions should be asked in the subject of Bosnia.

3. I am not quite sure there are enough Albanian, Slovenian, Serbian or Greek users but maybe there are enough Croatian but I am not sure. Collect at least 40 users from each language not country to avoid political questions. Well nice try to confuse people by listing all the countries around here but there are less languages: Romanian (which is not Balcan), Bulgarian, Serbian, Croatian, Slovenian (let's call them Balcan but they are not really), Albanian and Greek. Well now you can hate me but I explained why did I say this. In my opinion you tried to confuse other users to say yes because of the lots of countries you listed. Sorry a BIG NO here.

Edit: Sorry I forgot about Macedonian but I do not think there are enough users for it too.

You may be right about the politic problems but we could try it out if it do not work Paul could close it again.

About the country no i did not try to confuse anyone to be honest i dont know all the countries that are in Balkan i just googled my answer.

If I were a Romanian I would cry to call me Balcan. But I am Hungarian and I can laugh at it but I know it is not true - they should get their own sub. I just gotta post this because I know quite a lot about these Balcan questions because of it was a main part of the Hunagarian History in the 19th century. My main problem with your suggestion that you want to mix too many languages into one subforum which also would be very hard to moderate. And I fear very much about the political questions around Montenegro, Bosnia or Kosovo. There should be own language forums - I would not dare to give one subforum to Croatians and Serbians together, oh hell, I don't want to know what would be the end of it. Just the main conflicts:

1. The official language of Bosnia and Cosovo, the question about Montenegro. Well this could be survived by giving language forums.
2. Romanians and Bulgarians may not like each other in one sub.
3. Bulgarians and Serbians may not like each other in one sub.
4. Serbians and Croatians may not like each other in one sub.
5. Croatians and Slovenians may not like each other in one sub.
6. Greeks and Bulgarians may not like each other in one sub.
7. Macedonians may not like being in one sub with their neighbours.
8. Albanians may not like being in one sub with Serbians/Greeks.

Maybe I missed something. But I think it is enough. Also it was mentioned before that Romanian is a latin language. I highly recommend to forget about them in a Balcan subforum, give them an own. smile.gif
Well I don't think it is worth a try. Do you ?

You are right but i think this is a forum and we are not in a war were we hate us each other.

And this could help to bring all the nations that hate each other together so they maybe like them a bit more smile.gif

I was thinking about it as well. smile.gif But still I don't think it is a very good idea to mix so many nations as I mentioned due to the confusion and moderation problems - also I wouldn't be happy if I gotta share my subforum with other nations. As I said Bulgaria and Romania derserve their own forum. Thoguh I am still not convinced that there would be enough users for the Balcan sub. Thoguh I think I said everything about it I wanted. I can't say anymore, goodluck on bringing the nations closer to each other, hope your d2jsp account will be mentioned in the next centuries' History books about solving Balcan's national problems. smile.gif

edit: grammatical errors
