so in a normal thread, if this was, responding before the 4 hour is not an early bump?

If it is related to your trading then no, if it is off topic then yes, which would also be considered spam since it would be off the topic of the trade

You have to actually respond to a user in a way that is not a back-to-back post before 4 hours have passed.
