this is getting really stupid everyday there is people being scammed by impersonaters

we need new guide advising people how to trade properlly from jsp to steam ( ie sending a pm with a code word to confirm you are who you say you are)

and we need a sticky with a list of all the current impersonater accounts ( there is no point having scam accu because they arnt the real people they impersonating)

all that should be needed to add account to the impersonater list is the steam link which shows them using 5-10 different jsp names

everyday some1 gets scammed and trys to warn of the impersonater account and whenever a mod bothers to read our sub closes it and moves to scammer acc where it will be forgotton and never read again

what we really need are new moderators in the dota 2 subforum that are actually active and can contribute

i'm sure 99% of the dota 2 jsp userbase would not object to any thread, stickied or not, that would warn people of impersonator scam attempts.

it was moved to scammer accusations and then closed.

yer and normally followed with a "repost in s/a"

what fucking good is posting in the s/a when the person doing the impersonation probally doesnt even have a fucking jsp account

I'm sure the easiest solution to this is to give the other trader a direct link to your steam profile...
Or if necessary tell him how many items are on your inventory or even how many hours on the dota game you have.
I'm pretty sure those are hard to replicate than changing name/avatar picture. >_<
Or if you're the one selling asking him how much he's paying. I don't really know how you could get scammed from this..
