He will have to be patient. It normally takes 7 business days to process an account/password recovery request.

A friend of mine still hasn't received an e-mail concerning his account/password recovery, and it's been like 1,5 months now.

I've known plenty of people who have NEVER received an answer when attempting to recover. 8 to be exact.
So they gave up and made new accounts.

This can't be the final solution, can it? I mean after all this website is highly supported with real money, so the users could actually hope for some assistance regarding their account recovery.

Has he tried to resend email recovery multiple times?
The first few times did not work for me, then i did it a few more times and after repeating the process i finally got the email to reset.
