How to install and run Diablo I on Windows 7 (Without the colour problem)

Step 1:
Insert your Diablo I disc and install the program.

Step 2:
After installing it, find your Diablo.exe file in the folder (It should be C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo). Right click that file and click Properties:


Step 3:
Click the Compatibility tab and change it to look like this picture:


After clicking apply and then OK, go to your desktop.

Step 4: Right click your desktop:


Step 7: Leave that window open and start the game.
