I have a rather long question, and im just gonna get right to it:
Dream_Theater states that, if for instance 5 teenagers, in one house, one computer, all uses jsp, no violation so far, its all O.k .. BUT if ONE of them, gets banned, ALL Jsp accounts will be banned on that computer, right? so one teenagers responsibility, its everyones responsibility. Thats understandable since d2jsp can't tell if its multi or if its a legit situation.
But,
Now heres my issue:
Im a guy, using d2jsp in my house, along with 2 brothers, and sometimes my cousin comes by and uses d2jsp here aswell when we are playing lan.
O.k, so i log in on my account " awer19 " im just a regular guy, trying to get on with my warn and so on, fine. Now: My brother also uses d2jsp, and no problem with that. But then my cousin tried to log on, and after 5 minutes, he got banned.
History behind the account my cousin owns:
My cousin Martin, has a d2jsp account that is very old, he joined d2jsp community in 2002 during his first Diablo experiance, and learned d2jsp to know from some guys he met over diablo. He made only like, 20 post. And didn't use his d2jsp, internet costed alot of money at that time, and he was 16 years and had alot of school to look after because he was abit behind, and Counter-Strike: source just came out, so he spent all his time dedicated to css. So his d2jsp journey ended there. An old unused account waiting to be re used. Now how did it get to be re-used?
Funny actually, i " awer19 " didn't know my cousin actually had an old d2jsp, first at the lan party, when my cousin looked at my screen and saw d2jsp. He said it looked familiar, i asked how come? i immediatly asked if he has an d2jsp account? he said he had. I quickly answered: " Really? name of it? try log in to it" he couldn't remember name of it ofcourse, but recovered his account after 20 minutes of trying, because i kept encourageing to do it, and finally he got it. Account " Yeh " amazed as i was, because of the join date, i told him that account was a good one, so he logged in and not only 5 minutes after, he recieved message " Your account has been temporaily suspended "
Shocked as we all was, my other brother including my cousin Martin was pretty damn confused, but i asked mediator Dream_Theater abit this issue some time ago, he said again that: All accounts will be punished if just ONE of them, fucks up, literally.
Now how come awer19, Nikolajsoegaard not be closed/banned then? not that i want my brothers and i, account to be closed, but im just wondering why " Yeh " then got banned? is it just because of the join date? are 2002 accounts no longer allowed? highly seems like that! i like anyone to tell me a name of a 2002 account that is not banned. Its simply not fair at all. Btw my cousin is 24 years today, and he would really like that account to work, he finds it 'oldschool'
Now, how come awer19, nikolajsoegaard not be banned, when we all have used the same computer my parents buyed, and my cousin got banned only, because he was 2002, abit of a coincidence? i'd say. i'd like a proper answer to this issue. Thank you. ANY questions please, shoot.
I think there has been a mistake, how come the 2002 acc get immediately banned, without even have posted a single post? i wasen't aware of auto ban triggering. So a mistake can definintly be at place, since i couldn't have been any moderator that has banned him?? or what..
