Does anyone know whats happening to it?

Like every 3rd thread is closed due to 'spam and off topic posts' but most of the threads have nothing off topic about them they just being closed.....

You can try to ask a Junior Moderator politely for reopening a Thread. Make sure you send only one pm and wait patiently for a response!
But I believe most of the Topics are closed correctly

How can they be closed correctly though? People ask questions about the anime or give their opinion then the thread is closed for 'spam' when nothing has been off topic and nothing has been flamed. 'Spam' = nothing to do with what the thread is about.

I like to consider myself a regular

The problem is this:


Every new person who comes to the forum asks stupid questions and does not check the rules


Every old person flames the new people and thus huge flame wars are started


And there are a handful of people who report these topics


thus the chain is formed. The forum simply isn't as good as it used to be. Hope this wraps it up.

The anime forum is supposed to be about anime, anything anime related isn't off topic. No-one seems to be reading what I'm saying. ON TOPIC threads are being closed for no reason, there is no flaming, no off topic posting etc. They are just being closed and it says 'spam' yet the threads have no spam, no flame, nothing off topic or against rules in them. Unless the threads are being closed for another reason but the med is to lazy to choose a different option besides 'spam'

Example: I asked a question about who seen the latest Bleach, doesn't this episode make it seem like the story is going off track again, and then something else about does anyone know if the story is going back soon. Got 2 replies one listed the next few episodes titles, the other said maybe in a few months. How is this off topic and how is it spam, they answer my question and gave their opinion.

Edit: Looked through a few of the threads, some of them are spam, but some definitly are not. Some med/mod is just abusing power

like I said, no one reads the rules at the top.


90% of new threads are about shit that ALREADY HAVE threads so therefore they are spam.

God knows how many questions we get about HOW 2 STREAM DIS or WHERE 2 FIND BLEACH etcetc

Just check the rules, abide by them and everyone should be ok. :)

People shouldn't have to look through pages of the forum and then pages of that thread to find 1 post that explains what they need to know. My thread was not against the rules, and the Bleach episode only just came out I doubt anyone made a thread asking what I was asking about this episode.
