i would try restarting your modem and waiting 5 minutes before you try to log on. seems to do the trick for me

Maybe it`s just a temp ban? If you were changing games too fast (each 20 seconds or so) it just dropped you out of bnet for 10-15 minutes.

Typical realm down. If it is not possible for you to change your IP (you need to have a dynamic IP to do this) you will have to probably wait the realm down time if you have already tried the suggested posts. It can be anywhere from 1 hour-months. hope it's only a day or two.

Hey I've cannot connect to diablo 2 for alot of times too. try to contact blizzard at blizzard.support.com. if you contact them and still doesn't work just wait a few more minutes it might work. i usaully just wait for a few mins then it works.
