Well I had 2 problems at the beginning but I found out I needed to add strings so thats what I did. But towards the end of the install I get this error:

Then when I try to run it from the exe inside the program files folder I get this error (commonly known from what I remember):

UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: ACCESS_VIOLATION (c0000005)


Help please? If you can I'll give you some FG.

Also I was using an ISO Mount.

Dont worry about the error, if its the same error that I got, continue with it. And when you want to play diablo 2, right click / run as administator.


Try it out, it should work. Thats how I did it.



Edit: I didnt read all the way threw, sorry. When I got my error at the end, it was just a small tab that I click "okay run just the same" or wtver. Try re-installing it?

I figured it out..... Gay Vista I hate it. I just turned of UAC (User Account Control)

I lied still not working. I turned of UAC and it started up maybe a coincidence? I don't know.....

In order to run Diablo II you need to turn off UAC or it will block you from running the program. Try turning off UAC, uninstall and reinstall Diablo II. If that doesn't work post back in here
