Gallery FAQ

A new feature has been added to d2jsp - The Photo Gallery.
This feature is a simple gallery where you can see anything from drawing, graphic and pictures.

The current amount of pictures you can store in your Gallery is: 1024.
The current amount of galleries: 10

The Picture / Gallery storage can be changed in the future.

If you have any problems / doubts with this then this guide might help you.

The general rules about the picture posting is the same as posting in a topic. It may not violate the Forum rules.

How do I manage my Gallery
Go to your profile
Click on "My Photo Gallery (x photos)"




Why can't I upload any pictures to my gallery
In order to get a succesful upload then you have to fill out the:
"Photo URL" with a direct link. If you don't know how to get a direct link then look here: http://forums.d2jsp.org/index.php?showtopic=6101406&view=findpost&p=31594347
"Caption" the name of the picture, must be written.




How do I make a text under my picture
It's a description, the text in this box will show right below your picture.



Is the pictures private
You can see if it's private if there is a mark at the box left for "Private: Show this photo only to people on your friend list?"
If there is a mark in the box then it will only show pictures to people who are in your friendlist.

If there is no mark then it can be viewable from the public Here

Where can I manage my albums
If you wish to manage your album then click on "Manage Albums"

You can name your albums, if you wish to confirm your new album name - click on "Add new Album"
The maximum number of albums you can have is 10, this can be changed.




When the albums has been named and added then it will be viewable.
If you for instance named your album wrong then you can edit by making a mark at the box and click "Edit Album"

If you wish to delete your album, mark the white box and click on "Delete Album"

How do I add a picture to a specefic album
Look at the text "Album" click on the down arrow and you will see a list of albums.
Noté you will only see more than the default album if you have added an album by "manage album"
If you just upload your picture without choosing the specefic album then it will show in the default album.



How can I browse through different albums
Almost at the top there is the default and/or the added albums.
If you want to see the pictures in a specefic album then click on another album, if it's available.




Am I able to view the public galleries
Yes, if you click on "Browse Public Photos there will be pages of public pictures.



How can I look at private pictures
Private pictures is only viewable for people in your friendlist.
If you want to see their pictures then go to their profile and click on "View Photo Gallery (X Photos)

Here is an example of a picture, which is private and public.
It is shown above the picture if it's private / public
