Just got a new computer on Saturday and it has Windows 7.

If I play the game in 3D everything works fine until I get in game. Then, once in game and the minimap is on it lags like crazy. However, with the minimap off it runs perfect with no lag at all.

When in 2D I can play it using window mode and everything works fine but if I try and play it full screen mode a bunch of numbers and letters in a small black box in the top corner of my screen appear and after maybe 20 minutes or so the game loads but it is all blurry and the colors are all messed up.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it so that I can play full screen without lagging??

This happens sometimes with Windos 7/New Computers and Diablo

You should try running Diablo in Windows XP Compatibility mode.

Running Diablo in Full Screen limits your gfx card and will cause it to have funny colors, you can try lowering the settings on your gfx card. Try lowering the Colors to below 256.

There's not much else you can do, this issue get's posted and it really just has to be dealt with because Diablo is a relatively old game and with newer technology comes technical issues.
