Got the girlfriend a new nintendo ds xl for when we travel and got her a bunch of games,

Whats a good early on strat to complete the game?

use only 1 poke

overlevel it

easy mode

whenever i've seen that kinda thing happen it never works

noticed in game, you can trade online pokemons?
Why isnt there fg trading for pokemon?..

overleveling 1 and using only that 1 i find it usually doesn't work out well eventually

any fully lvld pokemon with decent atk and speed can finish the game solo
no question there

idk i've had high levels just get pounded on by lower levels at times

if you only lvl one poke, you're always going to be 10-15lvls over theirs
so unless you make obvious mistakes, shouldnt really have any trouble

i mean in pokemon gold/silver, if you run from all your battle and only defeat mandatory trainers, you'll still be a couple of lvls over everyone

we're talking 1pokemon here, not 2-3

obviously playing that way isnt really fun
i wouldn't recommend doing it

but its there and it works and it is the fastest way to beat any pokemon game

i still dunno
cause levels aren't always that huge of an advantage if you can't 1 hit everything (granted earliest I actually saw such problems was gen 3 so idk about before that)
but i will mention I've had 100s getting decimated at elite four in black 2 when i was doing my normal type elite four clear
