I watched a Nintendo video recently, that showed some of the new developments they've been working one. One thing they highlighted was what is essentially going to be a 3D remake of A Link To The Past in which the graphics are greatly improved and the 3ds is used to make the game more interactive.

Oddly enough, I stumbled across this video about a week after I received Ocarina of Time: Master Quest which is a port for GameCube. I've been enjoying it on the Wii, and actually just took out the Water Temple (what a pain in the ass!). Playing this game brings me way back to my younger years, but it also got me thinking... there's a lot of newer Zelda content I've never even gave a shot.

After playing OoT, which I consider my favorite game of all time, I tried out Majora's Mask when it first came out and it really didn't do it for me. Granted, I only played the game for a bit, and like most Zelda games I'm pretty positive I got stuck at some point which is what caused me to stop playing it period. Beyond that I have not played any of the newer games... and I'm looking for suggestions on which to try. Please also feel free to chime in on favorite games, moment, or memories from the Zelda series that YOU have.

Thanks,
- Jeremy

The new game is not a remake of a LttP, it is a sequel to a LttP. It will indeed have a very similar style with updated graphics, but the game is completely new. If you haven't played the original LttP, I reccommend you do because it's a great game, personally my favourite after OoT.

I understand your feelings towards Majora's Mask, many people have felt like that towards it because it's not your everyday Zelda game. However, the second playthrough seems to be much more enjoyable. Many of the people that bashed on the game when it was released now consider it a cult classic. It's all about the sidequests, not the main story; a unique Zelda. Maybe you should give it a second chance, and try to focus more on the sidequests than on the temples, you might enjoy it on your second run.

Wind Waker (Game Cube) is a great Zelda game too. Some people didn't enjoy the whole flooded Hyrule and cell shading graphics part, but unless that annoys you then you should definetely try it. I've barely played Twilight Princess, but it looks amazing, you can get it for either Wii or Game Cube. Personally I prefer the GC version because you can play it with the GC controler and the graphics aren't reversed (Link is left handed, so they reversed it so that right handed people could play it more confrotably using the Wii remote).

The Oracle games are fun too, they are coming to the eShop soon.

To be completely honest, I enjoyed the fuck out of Wind Waker, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword (so far)

Although, Twilight Princess is brutally easy. Probably least amount of "stuck" I've gotten while playing through a Zelda game.

Link to the Past 2 videos already show me I'm not going to love it as much as the original. The graphic style is meh, and the gameplay already looks gimmicky...
