I used to like the songs in QUAKE back in the day just because they were produced by my favorite band, Nine Inch Nails but if I recall they were all instrumentals
as far as todays standards go it would have to be the song 115 from Black Ops Zombies from the Kino Der Toten map, this song gets me so amped up, whats your favorite song from a video game?

Only thing I can think of is the Skyrim Theme off the top of my head.

The best soundtrack was from NARC. That was the game on PS2 where you can be good cop or bad cop, and you can do all the drugs each having their own powerup n shit.
