First things first, understand that I usually don't like FPS games.
I really like in-depth RPG games and RTS on PC.

Specifically, why I didn't like BF3 was because:

I found it hard to aim. I found myself just starting out, didn't have a scope and was getting picked off easily because at best I could look down the rails.
I understand that they are going for a more realistic look with larger maps and less of a run'n'gun feel but in my opinion they are in the grey area where it is almost too realistic.
In real life, there would be snipers in obscure locations just picking people off. Which at times was what it felt like. Doesn't make a fun game in my opinion.

I have played COD before but this is the only comparrison I am going to make but if in this large map I am getting sniped from someone laying prone in an obscure location, give me a killcam so that he can't just camp there and I can exact revenge.
Again, grey area of realism.

Sime things I really liked though was the polish. The game itself looks amazing.
The objection based mode in the beta was fun too.
But, still not enough to sway myself into FPS.
Remember, this is just my opinion. Just trying to break up all the BF3 praise with some contrast.

Try out the PC ver.

stop crying if u ask me everyone has to get used to it at 1st i didnt get used to it probably till lvl 5
and aiming down the rails i have no problem..i use the machine gun w/o a scope and had no problem finding ppl
and i do alot of run n gunning so idk what ur talking bout on that either..
and lol snipers...i camp with a sniper and i die all the time after killing a few ppl and this is hiding way back in the map..and if im rushing and i get hit by a sniper i get my sniper and fuck him over i dont under stand why ppl are crying so hard over the BETA its not the actual fucking game ppl if ur gonna cry bout the fucking shit dont play the beta at all go back to playing ur cod
+ there is a kill cam if u cant see where the ppl are by just looking at the front of them thats pathetic..
and u talk bout it being realistic go to iraq or some shit and get sniped by someone i wanna see if it shows a kill cam..owait..it wont cuz u'll b dead

not going to lie most of the issues u have with it seems like a matter of being bad+ the bad map selection
i agree this map is prob the worst they coulda picked it doesnt highlight shit for the BF series no vehicles hardly any destruction in it people are at a huge disadvantage with out upgraded guns
this betas not the best and im a huge BF fan but i can honestly say expect a lot better maps and more fun from the real game

First off, the beta gives a clear indication of the general style of play. Yes, it is a beta but no it's not going to change that much in the actual game.
Sorry, I don't play COD and this was never a comparison between the two.
You seem to miss my point of realism. I would probably have preferred less.



No doubt bro. I definitely suck at FPS. I don't doubt the main game will be better then the beta just pointing out some the things I didn't like in beta.

Also its a beta and will change. In an announcment the 1st map will be more destructive and such in the hard copy game, not beta. If u complain bout being sniper then maybe use some frigin cover....I played a lot so far and only been sniped a hand full of times (1shot death) I'm sure ill be back to rage more once I'm out of traffic.
