Not at all. You could do it without even following a guide. It is long though.
But the trophies are like, collect X of this plant, complete x storyline, kill x enemies with x move, find x lorestones (stones within the world), beat the game on hard.
There are maps and strategies you could use too but by the time I beat the game I had well over 50% of the trophies without even trying.
