DarkSeas Games has announced a Kickstarter for Road Redemption with the goal of “bringing back the classic Road Rash-style gameplay, with next-gen graphics, physics, and online play.

Currently seeking $160,000 on Kickstarter

The project has been in development since early last year and is aiming for release on PC, Mac and Linux in July if funding is successful. The team notes that it “would love to have the opportunity to port Road Redemption to consoles,” adding that “porting to Xbox 360 would be a top priority”

Doubt I would play on PC, but I would definitely purchase on Xbox.

Original road rash for Genesis was kickass

is this the one where it would show a --> in your screen, and you had about a second to press it, and segements like that every few seconds? it was so awesome. one of the first games i ever played on CD for the genisis
