In this guide I will explain how to use a siren, what gear to use, and what skills.
This is an Incendiary Siren build that I came up with without using the skill Phoenix.
You may not like this build but please don't spam, it took a lot of time to put this together.


Gear: (Assuming you are level 35+)
Weapon Slot 1: Try to obtain an elemental SMG with Mid-High damage. [ I went with firex2]
Weapon Slot 2: Combat Rifle!! Why? There awesome and do some crazy damage. Aim for at least 80+ with elementalx2++ [Again since this is a fire build I chose Firex2]
Weapon Slot 3: Ok now for some shield damaging arsenal. I went with a sniper for long range attacks that I can take their shields away than come in for the kill. Look for a HIGH damage x3 Corrode/Electric
Weapon Slot 4: Your choice. Rockets or Shotgun should suffice.

Artifact: Use whatever you have. I personally am trying for a corrosive one.
Shield: Capacity - 800+++++ Can't have too much shield and with this build I reach 1462 shields with a recharge rate of 76x2 after I kill an enemy. Look for those extra mods with a shield!
Grenade Mod: Incendiary MIRV it explodes injuring them than throws out several more for the group around them!!! Look for incendiary or electric here.
Class Mod: Team games have to go with a Defender for +% Team Shield Capacity but if your going to be a loner, either Mercenary or Firefly[This for the +% Ignite]
On the class mods look for Diva/Inner Glow/Quick Silver/High Velocity/Girl Power. These are a must (Note: Doesn't have to have them all. 3/5 is fine.)



Skills: You get 45 of them eventually.
Controller Tree - 5/5 Diva [Increases your shield capacity] ( Even with your class mod MAX THIS!)
Controller Tree - 4/5 Inner Glow [While Phase Walking you regenerate health] (Depending on your class mod. Mine only has +1 Inner Glow so for the Max rate I put 4. If yours has 2 put 3 in. If 3 than 2. etc.. )
Controller Tree - 1/5 Dramatic Entrance [Your Phase Blast can Daze enemies, reducing their speed and accuracy.] (Just to get down the tree)
Controller Tree - 5/5 Hard to Get [Decreases the Cooldown of Phasewalk] ( Speaks for itself)
Controller Tree - 1/5 Girl Power [Killing an enemy causes your shield to quickly regenerate after a few seconds.] ( Just like Inner Glow, depends on your class mod mine has 4 so I put 1.)
Controller Tree - 1/5 Mind Games [ Each billet you fire has a chance to Daze enemies, reducing their speed and accuracy.] ( You fire a lot of bullets you will stun him sooner or later.)

Elemental Tree - 3/5 Quick Silver [ Increases your Fire Rate with all weapons.] ( As Inner Glow and Girl Power, depends on class mod.)

Assassin Tree - 5/5 Slayer [Increases your Critical Hit Damage.]
Assassin Tree - 1/5 Silent Resolve [Increases your resistance to damage a few seconds after Phasewalking] (Life saver if your getting shot at and need to Phasewalk and heal than come back mad as hell)
Assassin Tree - 5/5 Enforcer [Killing an enemy increases your accuracy and Bullet Damage for a few seconds.]
Assassin Tree - 4/5 Hit & Run [Gain increased melee damage and Phasewalk duration] (Helps your Inner Glow heal you longer and gives you a chance to run away longer too.)
Assassin Tree - 5/5 High Velocity [Increases Bullet Damage and Velocity] ( Makes you do more damage and your bullets get to them faster. Nuff salad.)
Assassin Tree - 5/5 Phase Strike [Using a melee attack while Phasewalking deals additional damage.] ( Why not do some damage while your invisable? Ok, I know this is broken for now but is said to be fixed on Friday, October 30, 2009.




How to use the Siren
Be aggressive!! She has a skill that turns you invisable use that to your advantage.

Ok so your being aggressive but your taking a lot of damage no worrys use Phasewalk run around hitting people with Phase Strike and let Inner Glow heal you. And when you come out of Phasewalk your going to not take damage for a few seconds use that time to reload. But now you have another problem, your only level 38 but the guys your facing are level 40. No need to worry use those nades! Or switch to your shield damaging weapon, this will help a lot trust me. Now with the Weapon Proficiencies try to get SMG/Combat Rifle high first seeing as is, these are the power weapons don't let them go too waste.



Looting with the Siren
Please only do this if your level 50!

2 Place's I find are very good for looting are the Crimson Fastness and the Lost Cave. When doing the Crimson, kill all the enemies they drop such good loot and there are tons of weapon crates. DO NOT KILL THE CRABS IN THE LOST CAVES!! Its a waste of time there are too many and there are better weapons ahead with the bandits. (Note: I found out that bringing your friends to a looting session is great the loot is always better with more people. And its an awesome way to level[BOOST TIP: Have people bring level 1 characters to these also, 19 levels in a matter of minutes!]

I came from another gaming site. But they didn't have any active Borderlands players so I google'd gaming websites borderlands and a thread came up here. I register'd and posted away.

I know how to use a forum because of PTG. But this FG stuff is new too me, TheSonOfDisaster kinda helped me unstand that I can use that stuff for name colors and junk
