List Rules

1. You may ONLY post here to nominate someone else for a position. If you post here about yourself you will be removed from the list (unless you are on the welcher's list). If spam for some reason continues I will NOT put you on the list.

2. If you post to nominate someone whether welcher or active, PLEASE post a link to the thread that shows the evidence for your nomination.

3. If you have a situation, please pm me tomspeople. If you post, please do not continue to post before I have responded. Remember, it takes me time to resolve situations. This list has been modified by several people, so it does take me time to figure out where the information is coming from. Part of the reason I have allowed pms is to clean up the clutter in the threads.

4. Do NOT spam this topic. We WILL take action against it.

5. If you feel someone does not deserve to be on the list, pm me about it, with reason(s).

General Expectations

1. This list will be updated, and you will not have to search through the post for updates and additions.

2. Normally, I will add somebody to the active list after a few positive nominations. If you have been nominated several times and have not been added, feel free to pm me about it.

3. Do not report someone for 'welching' unless there is proof they do not intend to pay or they have not paid within 72 hours of the game's conclusion and haven't contacted you for reason why not (and have been online since).

Note: We WILL be taking action against those who spam excessively.
New: General Betting Rules
1. NO retracting an in game bet.
2. NO editing a post for an in game bet.
3. STATING a bet in someone else's thread is considered an autoconfirm. The thread maker must still confirm.
Ex1. "100fg on Toronto > Montreal" is considered stating a bet.
Ex2. "I'll put 400fg on Chicago if you give me +1.5" is considered stating a bet.
Ex3. "Will you give me +2 on Tampa Bay?"is not considered stating a bet.
Ex4. "Are you willing to let me bet 5k on San Jose?" is notconsidered stating a bet.
4. If you are not on trusted list DO NOT offer to mediate
Anyone found to be mediating bets or using a mediator who is not on the trusted list will be removed from the list

Although it's not an official rule, if you're going to retract a bet before game time, it's courtesy to pm the person and let them know.
Posting the retract in the thread is mandatory.

Note: These rules were voted on by everybody that bets in the hockey forums.
