4/12/12 Haven't actually got around to hitting the heavy bag the past two days or any kind of exercise at all... :o Doing yoga to finish up the night for the past 10 minutes.
I'll be doing benchpress/upright rows/deadlifts/pullups tomorrow, I'll also hit the bag for an hour.

4x benchpress (6,6,3,1) (75%,75%,85%,95%)
4x pullups
3x deadlifts (6,5,4,5) (66%,70%,80%,83%)
3x 10 upright rows

Hit the bag for about 40 minutes, 3x 3 minute rounds, 3 30 second rounds MMA style (ground n pound after a fake knockdown, practice entering to the side to defend upkicks had to simulate getting a knockdown after rocking opponent and finishing it as soon as possible), also did some clinch elbows and knees, also practiced striking the side of the head from back control, neck cranks and rear naked chokes.

Did some balance work on a bosu ball
2x 30 second pushups 29 and 29. Wasn't really trying, want my chest to recover from yesterdays benchpress lol.
1x 1 minute 30 second plank
Also did 4 minutes HIIT lol, 45 seconds jog 15 second pick up at the last 15 seconds of each minute, not quite sprinting but I was going fast nonetheless.

When I got home I also trained, did some punching drills at a small target. Worked on manipulating your opponent from the clinch shifting sides to get them to shift their balance, etc. Might start practicing hip tosses and such from the clinch soon. Also did some Ground n Pound work and focused on knees, and alternating each knee strikes, also coming at different angles with the knee. Cool shit. Hope to do again soon, practicing clinch grappling, takedowns, back/side/top control tomorrow as well, I also want to drill escapes when your opponent is on top. Maybe go over hip tosses, those have always been my weakest takedowns but I'll give them a try.

Did 5x 10 squats (1 set frontal squats, 2 sets back squats, 1 set sumo squat, 1 set feet 1 inch from together squats)
4x 10-14 calf raises slow on the way up

Sorry I haven't posted in a while guys, really busy with school stuff so I haven't really had the time to workout, I did do a few sessions of yoga and light cardio.

Did some more clinch grappling work on the 16th.

Starting a new diet tomorrow, instead of .8ish g of protein per day I'm going to get 1-1.2ish g of protein, most of the carbohydrates will come in the morning and a small amount will be at night but not more than 30ish, assorted fats throughout the day majority will be before bed.

Did 3x 3 minute rounds with the heavy bag, hurt my right arm when I threw a cross at the bag in the third round so I overcompensated with my left to get a equal workout.
Also did 135x jumping jacks after I was done hitting the heavy bag.

I'm going to do some takedown work and positional control work tomorrow probably control in the clinch, back control and possibly side control.

Hit the weights and the bag.

3x 10, 8, 6 incline benchpress
3x 4, 2, 1 power cleans
3x 10 tricep extensions

later...

3x 3 minute rounds heavy bag
Alot of kick technique focused on maintaining balance, speed, turning my hips into the kick and keeping my block up during the kick.

Did some dumbass p90x thing in weightlifting today "ab ripper x" oh boy... Oh well anyways feeling it in my whole core, obliques, rectus abdominis, everything in that region.
Also did some stretching video for p90x that was actually pretty good feel far less tight throughout my body is was like a total of 20 minutes of stretching it mixed static and dynamic stretching

Later....

Hit the heavy bag 3x 3 minute rounds.
Focused on throwing kicks but mostly circled the bag and peppered it with 1-2 combinations, lots of movement, did some clinching threw knees and elbows, focused on muay thai elbow technique keeping my non throwing hand on my face to catch my "opponents" elbows, exited clinch with jabs, etc.

In other news some shorts I won in a competition showed up today, used them today gives my legs room to throw kicks has like 4-5 inches on the sides of the shorts removed for freedom with kicks.

Sorry for not posting yesterday was too late to post anything.
