Morphing would be a skill that combines any 2 items into 1 item. The new item type created would be the one on the left dropbox and would retain some or all properties of each item (based on prof, random, quality). Skill progression would start with tier 1 magical and proceed like other proficiencies. This would help all those with "fail" drops.

doesn't glyphing already take care of the failed drops?

unspawns are already OP. what if the % to create one was low this could in effect get rid of some of these by failure

Oh ok, so now not only is it getting rid of some unspawns its making unspawns more valuable also?!?

Way to OP lol...

i've found 50+ stat fails on sooooo many items, just the idea of that many items being good is scary, +, the unspawnables that there are would get infrickensane.
think prices are bad now? well this wouldn't help. not your best idea ;)

well at the usual rate of spawns, it would be to risky to do an unspawn cause it would just turn to trash. it would be like a 1% or less success rate so yeah. I like the idea and it would be fun to do and helpful. It could add items back into a game where less than 10% do things in the game to get drops. The bulk of the items introduced in today's LS is from muting and even that is slim.

Reminds me of my old suggestion to take glyphs and attach them to items.
I had some stipulations to make it less overpowered. But also it required a massive amount of time since it would require high levels in both glyphing and muting. It also promoted group play since one guildy could focus on glyphing and the other muting.

Actually I cant remember exactly it might have required glyphing/suffusencing instead of muting. Either way no one liked it, just like no one ever likes any suggestions... even though PAUL TOTALLY ADDED MY SMALLER DROP BOX SUGGESTION! KEEP THE SUGGESTIONS COMING! KEEP HOPE ALIVE BROTHER!
