- just as a warning for all users who use this feature in cooking -

I had 2 groups of fishes
1. 471 cod fishes with avg 154 life
2. 1xx cod fishes with avg 160 mana

As the group 1 is at max, I decided to cook them.
For not grouping every single fish I cook, I checked the checbox Auto Stack Fish from Settings.
I start cooking untill I got a pile of 132 cooked fishes.
I started to do other things... the comp went into stand by, I automatically got log off of the game..
After 4-5 hours I entered again into game.
The first pile was now 471 - 132 - (1 or 2 fishes I lost) > pile number 2
So the auto-stack checkbox combined the remaining fishes in pile 1 and the ones from pile 2.

Now I have a single pile of 446 fishes with 118 life and 37 mana, which distroyed all my fishes as they will not pass over 300 after cooking.

My recomandations:
- use it only if you can cook all the way
- or uncheck the checbox when you take breaks.

Bug:
- the fishes should get combined only when you fish or cook, not when you re-login into the game

you probably had mana in that life stack
if you have one single combined the mana stack will combine together with the life pile even if it says 1mana /fish


this wont happen if the life stack was pure life
or the mana one was pure mana

its just a warning, its not normal big stacks of fishes to be combined by the checkbox.
and I guess it wasn't a pure mana or life stack even if it looked that way: I mean if you have a pile of 500 fishes with 150 life avg no mana and add a fish 150 life 50 mana... it will look the same even if it has mana in it (low value < 0.5 ).

You will always get some rare fish with both value.. stack them where you want... I don't think there are pure stacks.. it should count the dominated value.

Its not a big problem for me.. as I cook only to lvl, but its the last time I use it as I don't want to have other surprises
and I also don't want to move all the fishes to another char leaving only the pile I want to cook.

yup exactly
so to be sure if you have your "auto stack" while u fish its better to not have any stacks from the all beginning when you start fishing
so you make sure its only lifes in it

I only use it on cooking, on fishing is not good at all.
For example I have pile of 350+ life trout fish, pile of 250+ trout fish and pile of 150+ trout fish
After cooking I'll have groups of 700 life, 500 life, 300 life.
If I had "auto stack" while fishing I would probably had on pile around 250 life or less (so no 700 life fishes after cooking, just 500)

But on cooking, it shouldn't combine big amounts on its own, that you can do manually.
This is what I want to share with the rest of the fishermens... be carefully if you have more piles of the same type of fish if you use "auto stack", they can stick togheter if you get logout and relogin.

Yeah i only got herrings so far, so i dont really care if a 190 stack together with a ~60
Not that huge loss imo ^^

but when you get up to cods/trout and even higher i can understand why you dont like it.
