well i cant confirm 100%, but u can test it in a duel wearing specific items. thats how i discovered crits to ignore defense and ms working for hits of 0.

u should test on lvl 55 as chars can wear any eq on this lvl

This is true. Every time you get hit with a magical attack you have a chance to siphon mana from your enemy my handy staff let me test this over 30 solo monk casting climbs.
