Hi everyone, so as i think the game is very difficult for the noobs to come in and get a good start, i have decided to give some of them a guaranteed reward for at least giving this game a try.

As such i have a list of items, and upon completion of the first MQ made by a noobie after RIGHT NOW i will be providing one item for said noobie.

After that, i shall provide another item to the next noobie who can sucessfully attempt two MQs after RIGHT now.

This will go on until 5 Mqs, as such at the moment i will be giving away 5 Items from the list.

Qualifications:
Must be a new/newish player to LS, or a long time player who doesn't have FG or Gear. This means if you've already got an MQ setup for all classes, please do not try and sign up for this competition.

Restrictions:
There are no restrictions on how to slash, you may make it to the master quest however you like, with a group of Elite players leading you through a cata group, or grinding it out on your own in solo.
Only 1 item per user, as such at this time the person who makes the first mq is not eligible to win the prize for first two MQs, and the winner of the first two MQs is not eligible to win the prize for first three MQs.

How to apply:
Please post here with a screenshot of your Ladder Slasher Character List and specify which character you plan to use during the competition so we can note how many MQ attemps were on the character in the beginning.
You are not required to use the same character for the duration of the competition, meaning if you pass your first mq, but were not first and would like to try and become first to two MQs, you can choose a different character at that time to start as feeder again.

your intention is nice, but as beginner without spending fg, you get to mq in 3-4weeks if not quit until then
i would rather reward them for getting to lvl 55 which can be done in a reasonable time, but ofc not too fast
and it's better to give medium items when they start, as help, one for each, and make a decent prize of fg which will motivate more for sure

I like this competition.

To make it more interesting for the new players i will throw in a 100 fg
for the first new player that reaches level 55.
Then he or she can buy a medium MQ item for level 55+ to continue to 71.

Let me get this straight.

The person who wins the first prize does 1 MQ
The person who gets second prize does 2 MQs
The person who gets third prize does 3 MQs
... etc upto the 5th person doing 5 MQs

Now... they get one item as a prize.

Where is the balance of this competition.

Here is an idea... get at least 10 ppl in the competition, they have to complete 1 MQ, and you give them a ticket.
That number is there number, and you draw each prize out in sequence.

Thus, 1st 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place only do 1 MQ each, but they get 1 Prize each... as you have stated.

Sorry... good idea, needs more input and thought.

Another suggestion... maybe go to MP and buy up some items that are equivalent to what you are offering
and make the prizes a set of things like TierIII, level 5, level 10, 15 etc... like staff, robe, charm...
Give the winner the best highest level set for a character class.

Example: level 15 staff (80ee) / level 15 robe (10dex / 123 max life) / level 15 charm (21 dex) As a 1st prize to the winner.

2 - Rex's suggestion regarding the lottery setup is way more balanced than yours for winning prizes
3 - Since Dream_Theater has offered an FG prize, this contest now should be hosted by a tagged member. This should be requested in topic. I have already said I can do this, but you may also ask DT is he wants to do it.
