Status Quo: LS has slipped down to the depths of the d2 sales threads with auctions now being auto closed at 60 replies in thread.

Proposed Solution: Remove the 60 reply threshold for LS and keep this area of the site "special". However, I propose to combat the necessity of this limitation by making the following changes to all sales threads
  • The thread has an appropriately timed BUMP icon show up available for ANYONE's use
  • Each individual is limited to 3 bumps per day that are not his/her own threads afterwhich the icon will grey out for that user (Thread authors still have unlimited 4 hour bumps on their own threads)
  • When the BUMP icon is pressed, it will no longer spam a BUMP msg inside the thread
    • Instead a timer will be reset that is shown at the top of the page
    • History from the previous two bumps will show. This will allow the ability to still close threads based on early bumps (maybe the second one is hidden and only visible by mods?)
  • Intelligent thread closure will be created (Mods can rejoice now). A comparison will be made on the time/ID of last bump & Last posting. If the IDs match and the time is w/i 4hours the thread will close and provide a msg shown in the third picture

I believe this to be a positive idea for the site. Please exercise self-restraint and do not spam/troll this thread.
I welcome any ideas that you believe could contribute to refining what I have to make it better.

Thanks for reading.

The Bump icon/time: yup sure
Bump history? Maybe last Bump by ...
Early Bump violations ... i find them pointless altogether. It should simple be impossible for someone to post in his/her trade-topic if the last post/bump was made by same user in the last 4h.
