In my opinion this is scam.

If everyone agrees that the person who puts the item into the well gets the drops, then unless Gandi didn't click it (which I would call him insane for not doing), it is his.

I think if you play with people you don't know/trust. You should all just play free for all, doesn't matter who wells everyone can grab.
