I can understand when I get lower proff for hitting mobs under my level...

but why I get almost no proff when i solo and enter TD? - 1 proff point per level in TD seems little low :)
when i normally get 30-40 points per level with no TDs...

Never seen this before.

1-10 prof points per wave is what I have encountered.
BUT... I may test this out more later on.

Just tested again to confirm, went through trapdoors, and still was gaining proficiency correctly. Also consider that you don't gain proficiency under certain other conditions, such as when your character level is lower than your proficiency, or if you're over level 70.

i rmk for a good reason when i solo and get a td. i barely get any prof in a td soloing. if thats gaining correctly... and i was higher lvl than my prof for sure as i dont start soloing below my prof. irrc i got prof from eps in tds

I was gaining profs at the same rate in the TD as not, without having to fight EPs. There is no proficiency penalty for being in a trapdoor.

so maybe we play different games...

just tested it one more time...
now I'm in TD.
starting new level at : 18829 ice proff - 43 lvl warlock
at 38% of lvl 43 i entered next TD...
at 65% of lvl 43 i entered next TD...
when i reached lvl 44 I had : 18833 proff

mobs were much more harder than normal - most of mobs - 3-4 hits to kill - that means much more actions at this lvl - and 4 proff points for whole level...

I remake game, now i start lvl 44 with no TD
I have 18833 ice proff
at lvl 45 I have : 18869
most mobs - 1-2 hits to kill - low amount of actions... and 36 proff

NO, it is not working...

edit :
next lvl with no TD : at lvl 46 - 18898 prof : +29 ice proff
next lvl with no TD : at lvl 47 - 18928 prof : +30 ice proff

Oops, my bad, you do get less proficiency for combating higher level mobs. This is correct, I forgot. My testing didn't immediately show it because the proficiency at 0 (higher probability to gain points), and the TD didn't drop me down very far (random).

Anyway, yeah, this is correct, it's part of the "trap" of the door.

Why would you get less experience for something harder? That makes no sense to me? Shouldn't that give some advantage?
