Well, I don't have any experience with BAN'd ppl and have a question. The definition of being in the BANNED group on d2jsp seems as though these guys could never use their account again (particularly LS). I want to validate 100% if this is true or not.


Here's a hypothetical situation:

D3 comes out and some guy who was banned decides to log into his d2jsp account again and sees a PM stating that "If you ever get to use your account again, I'll pay you 10,000fg for this LS item". Well the guy is banned for a scam of 1000fg. It would be in his best interest to somehow pay back the scam. Is this possible?

Anywhere I can read about the scammers/locked ppl etc. I write this in LS because this will be a determination of BAN'd ppls items showing up in SC's Best List.

A banned account may never be used again on this website. I believe that in some special circumstances users have been allowed to return to the site, but not on the same account.

That is my understanding.

Thanks Karl. I guess there are no exceptions to the rule on being getting unbanned.

well i do believe that members can get unbanned if they show effort and good manors, but is it going to be likely that someone that did not care before is going to
care enough to put in that effort. Probably not, although you look at scammer accusations and other forums that Mods get over whelmed with the lock/scammer/banned
members are try to help as much as possible. So there are ways to save face but again EFFORT is the key.

very true. I would say it's effort AND the realization that they did something "wrong" and learned from their mistakes...overcoming those mistakes to become a better person. (yes, even on the internet). Lol.

Even if they do manage to earn use of this site again, I'm basically 100% certain that they never have use of the banned account again.
I've seen a couple cases of that over the years where a person is allowed to make a new account after having been banned.

Hmm, actually after thinking about it I may have seen a user banned who returned to the same account.
Eh, too much thinking for me this late at night. Point being that it's not practical to include banned items on the best items list since they're basically gone forever.
