So I might be in that mood but this just rubbed me the wrong way and want to point something out.

I see time and time again that members get rude to new members, I seen it when I started and still see it today. I know that it will never stop but sad to see a respected
member that works hard on this site doing it. I see some TT's helping in game and would like to thank them along with the members of this site that dont have a TT that help new
members. So with that being said time to let you know

PAPARICK aka MR. CRANK

You pushed a button... YOU SAID "19:36 Crank> I have very little use for casters that don heal"

Why would someone who knows how to play the game need a heal at low lvl? The two mage's that where in game did decent damage and might play the game like I do, not healing until lvl 15. I can heal
if the players I am in game with are new but I dont plan on healing unless I need to. I know there are many casters that play like this.

Q: WHY ARE THERE NEW PLAYERS?
A: TO SEE WHAT THE GAME IS ABOUT OR TO MAKE FG ~NOT TO GET RIPPED ON BECAUSE THEY DON'T KNOW ANY BETTER.

WHY DID THIS PUSH A BUTTON?

I have kids and they are starting to play the game, keeping mind that all 3 are under 10 years old. They enjoy the game even tho they dont understand item mechanics yet. They
each play there own char on one account I set up for them. I know that other members of my guild have kids that are starting to play as well and I'm sure that they
are not the only younger kids playing. So when I see flaming towards players that are not playing the way you feel they should it pushes a button.

I like you Karl your a good person. I like Rick also, he's also a good person :D

Explaining to "newbs" is best of course.
I tend to ask them, if they can heal, if they say no, thats when I ask them to leave.

Healing is somewhat important at any lvl, thats how I look at it though.
So many ppl, who even know how to play, dont even heal before lvl 10 + Imo. thats wrong, you can get 9 eps or pinch before that lvl and die? Not nice.
And of course not many ppl tank also, therefore, no proper tank and casters with no heal charms, to me are useless ppl playing the game and being selfish.

I've said it before though, this game is a selfish game indeed ;)

Most have crap heals on at that level - and don't wear healing gear. I haven't been in one game that i've needed to be in healing gear below level 10. When it comes to ep's most people help heal - so it isn't a big deal at low level.

I'm not condoning what paparick did, yet merely asking your opinion because I had a situation happen to me earlier.

Member was a 40 mage.
Using a 36EE 35 dagger
Random armor
11 dex tier 4 charm

Seemed to be a new member, yet had 4.5k fg.

When I mentioned what he needed to buy/do, he said "Why would I spend my fg on this game"?

Do I keep him in group or kick or explain what he needs to do or a combination of these? He seemed to know that he could be carried and be just fine.

Actually has happened to me twice today with another member with very little fg, yet was "in the hole" fg because of a loan. They were using gear on a mage that enabled 100avg damage with max 28x. Do I keep, boot. or explain?

I would kick them then apologize and invite them back to play and then fucking kick them again and laugh. They are lazy and want to leech and then try to snipe drops to sell and make fg.

You have to put in a level of effort in this game. If not sorry, you're kicked.

Sure, crap heals or not. I admit my lvl 1 - 10 heals aren't the best also. But a mage or caster has added full Int. no need for healing gear, just a heal charm would do the trick.
Thats what I mean.

You say when it comes to Ep's they help heal, but they can't if they dont even have a heal equipped, wich most of the time, they dont

I'd kick, the leecher with mass Fg. I've done it before, I ask if he can upgrade gear, he says anything negative, bye bye I ask them to leave. I hardly kick, unless he persists on staying.

Others, with low Fg and low gear, if they're trying I let them be and let them pick up gear as they drop. But if I see someone in range that would help out the team more, I would let them in over the newer person.

I doubt my actions are wrong, I do alot to help everyone that plays Ls, as best I can :)

boot the rich guy imho, if he does not want to play he shall not slow these down who are willing to invest a bit :)
for the poor guy it's likely that he can't do better, leave the lvl 25 drops for him that he can sell them to nara to get some fg to start over with ;)

@ original topic: lol you should be able to heal at pretty much any level, is a tier 3 heal too pricy for you?

*edit*
and why anybody would need a heal at that low lvl probably is because the other fighter who could tank is standing back with his scale -> rick ended up taking pretty much every hit. stop crying and start thinking

Lies. You've never hit shamans at 11 or 12, have you? Good grief. Make gross generalizations all you wish.

Usually, if my health drops below... Um... Full, at 12, it's because there are 4 others in the game who are averaging 6 damage, sitting in back, just looking to level up mules, without even the common courtesy to gear up those mules for the portion of the climb they're participating in.

Frankly, anyone who can't manage to heal on a mage is a fool, and should be immediately kicked, without hesitation, especially when the player that's tanking is a damage-based character of Rick's caliber.
